The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Program is administered by the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) on behalf of the Waste Authority.
Each year, a report is produced to outline the quantities and types of hazardous waste collected and their treatment.
In the 2024–25 financial year, a total of 549,943 kg of HHW was collected through the program from 15 permanent facilities located across the state.
The total program expenditure for 2024–25 was $2,015,990.
