The Waste Authority and Department of Water and Environmental Regulation, with support from the FOGO Reference Group, develop resources – including guidance, reports and case studies - to support the rollout of food organics and garden organics (FOGO) collection services. 

Market Development Strategy for FOGO-derived products

The FOGO market development strategy was commissioned by the Waste Authority to inform stakeholders of market barriers and opportunities for FOGO products. The Waste Authority’s market development priorities, informed by this report on advice from the FOGO Reference Group, are in annual FOGO Rollout Plans.

This step-by-step guide helps with planning, implementing and monitoring better practice food and garden organics (FOGO) services. The guide sets out the key steps for delivering services consistent with the Waste Authority’s Better practice FOGO kerbside collection guidelines.
