The Waste and recycling in Western Australia reports present data about waste recovery, disposal and generation. They also detail the progress made against the targets set out in the State Government’s Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Strategy 2030.
Some of the data presented in the waste and recycling reports are also available in interactive dashboards and as spreadsheet downloads.
The data in the reports, dashboards and downloads were predominantly obtained from annual returns lodged by liable persons to the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation under regulation 18C of the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Regulations 2008.
