FREE Workshops for Early Years Educators
If you are from early years centres in the Cities of Wanneroo, Perth, Vincent, Stirling, and Joondalup and Towns of Cambridge and Vic Park, come and be inspired and equipped for your waste reduction journey. In this fun and interactive workshop you will:
Learn about waste and the problems it can cause;
- Meet the waste education officer and see what happens to waste after it goes into the recycling bin;
- Explore links to the NQS, EYLF and WA Curriculum;
- Hear what others are doing to reduce waste in their early childhood services; and
- Take away activities you can run with children to help them learn about waste issues.
Participants will also receive a USB with resources including the Little Green Steps WA early childhood waste reduction kit.
